Iglesia Evangélica Bautista (IEB)
Our goal
Iglesia Evangélica Bautista (iebdefiladelfia.org) is seeking a pastor to preach God’s word, shepherd the church and impact the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Church
Iglesia Evangélica Bautista is an independent church that is not affiliated with any organization but will fellowship with other churches of like precious faith. We are a Pre-Millennial and Pre-Tribulation believing church. We have one Sunday morning service at our church building, which includes Sunday school; our worship music is a mixture of contemporary music and hymns. We also have a Sunday evening service and a Wednesday night Bible study (currently via zoom). The youth group meets every other Friday night at our church building. Our average attendance on Sunday is about seventy-to-eighty people. Our mission is to evangelize the lost and disciple believers using God’s Word among the Latino community.

IEB Church was established in 1953. Our present building was bought in 1980. We own a parsonage on the property with the church; it is available to be used by the incoming pastor. The parsonage is a three-bedroom, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and office space.
The Candidate
We are looking for a bilingual man who has studied the scripture; a master’s degree is preferred, preferably with some lead pastor experience, or an ordained minister or willing to be ordained. A pastor should be able to fulfill the scriptural qualifications as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 3:1-9. He should not be divorced and then remarried.
